2009 DIABETES RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
"Novel Mechanisms of Diabetes Complications"

CALL FOR POSTER ABSTRACTS
Deadline Nov.5, 2009 for inclusion in program book
and ability to display poster at the Symposium

You are invited to respond to the Call for Poster Abstracts for the 2009 Diabetes Research Symposium to be held November 13, 2009 at Executive Caterer's at Landerhaven.

All diabetes-related research submissions are welcome from investigators in Northeast Ohio institutions. Please submit abstracts electronically as an attachment to: DDRI (ddri@dagc.org) by COB Thursday Nov. 5, 2009. You will receive confirmation of receipt and an assigned number corresponding to your easel and board.

Please Note: Registration is open to investigators from around the country, but poster submissions will only be accepted from investigators in Northeast Ohio.

All submitted posters will be on display throughout the Symposium with time allotted to speak one-on-one with the poster authors during the lunch break.

ABSTRACTS:
(1) Each submission must be sent electronically and must include the full name, department and institutional affiliation of each author. If full information is not included on the abstract, please include complete details for all authors in the submission email.
(2) Indicate category: Basic Science, Clinical, Clinical Trial, or Translational.
(3) Abstracts may be no longer than 1 page.
(5) Minimum font size Arial 11. Left margin should be 1 inch.

POSTER PREPARATION:
(1) Authors are responsible for transporting and mounting their own poster.
(2) Poster boards, easels, and pushpins will be provided at the conference.
(3) Area for poster mounting is 40" high x 60" wide.
(4) Posters should be mounted prior to the beginning of the program at 8:15am; otherwise, you will be asked to wait until the lunch break.

Abstracts will be included in the syllabus.
