The Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland's Dietrich Diabetes Research Institute (DDRI) offers a limited number of summer research internships to full-time undergraduate, graduate and medical students. An award of $2,500 is given to successful applicants for ten (10) weeks of sponsored diabetes research in the Greater Cleveland area (June through August).
DDRI Summer Internship in Diabetes Research applications and Sponsor Registration form are posted online each winter for the upcoming summer. Candidates and sponsors will be notified of awards by the end of April.
If you are interested in sponsoring a DDRI Summer Intern, you must submit the online Sponsor Registration form.
A sponsor may have a student already in mind for the summer internship or may be added to DDRI’s Sponsor List of possible summer internship sponsors for students without sponsoring researchers. Applicants looking for a sponsoring researcher will contact potential sponsors directly.
